For the next 12 months, free parking will be available on Hay Street between Outram and Havelock Streets, with fee payable bays converted to no fee payable bays. A free parking trial in Claisebrook has been in place since July and on Hay Street, East Perth since August.
The trials aim to support high street retail precincts, increase patronage and improve community activation and safety perceptions in each neighbourhood precinct. The City continues to receive positive feedback from businesses in Claisebrook, East Perth and West Perth.
